Scuba Dive Tenerife With Sol Divers PADI Registered Dive School We are open 7 days a week from 9am - 5pm and welcome Scuba Divers from all training agencies and certification levels. Sol Divers provide Scuba Diving courses from complete beginner through to professional level. All Diver training takes place in our heated swimming pool, located directly in front of our Dive centre, and from our local shore dives "Yellow Mountain" is our house dive location, which is a very popular site for Scuba Divers of all levels. We can supply 'custom' dive packs to suit all levels of experience, budget and time constraints. Its volcanic origins have created an astounding underwater world of enormous beauty with spectacular rock formations and an abundance of marine life. Stingrays, Angel Sharks, Turtles, Barracuda, Cuttlefish and Moray eels all inhabit the costal waters of the archipelago and the exceptionally mild Tenerife climate enables you to dive all year round in warm water with sea temperatures ranging from 20°C in the winter to 25°C in the summer. We only use PADI qualified, experienced and fully insured Professional Scuba Diving Instructors,teaching under the banner of the world's largest Scuba Diving training organisation PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). Academic training is conducted in our Dive Centre classroom which is equipped with audio/video/DVD and computing facilities. Sol Divers also cater for the experienced Scuba Diver with twice daily, guided excursions either from boat or shore,including specialties such as underwater photography, wreck dives, deep dives, night dives and Nitrox diving. This is one of the best shore dives in Tenerife and can be dived in many different ways, depending on the experience of the divers in the group. This site boasts some exceptional underwater volcanic formations, as well as a volcanic lava tube at 28 metres. Gully Jacks, Tuna, Stingrays, Eagle Rays and Angel Sharks have been seen at this site.
This little known dive site is actually an earth mover which it seems, has been mysteriously dumped into the ocean. Never-the-less, it has now been transformed into a miniature artificial reef, which is home to many species including a Moray eel. The adjacent reef drops down suddenly and provides an interesting wall dive. With a maximum depth of 25 metres, this is an interesting but easy dive, suitable for all qualification levels
This is a highly scenic reef which boasts large underwater rock formations and a variety of aquatic life, including Cuttlefish, Bream, Trumpet fish, Octopus, Stingrays and Barracuda. With an average depth of 15 metres, this site is suitable for novice and expert divers alike.
This site can be dived either by boat or from the shore. The reef juts out seaward and then drops down to a sandy lagoon at 28 metres. This site has an amazing amount of fish life, unseen at any other site in Tenerife, as well as a resident family of large, friendly Atlantic Stingrays. This really is an unmissable dive site.
