Summer-Salt is anytime anywhere! Join us for SCUBA diving trips, PADI introduction and certification courses, Snorkeling-, Whale-Watching-, Coast Exploration-, Sunset-trips or simply a combination of all!
Our 2 custom built boats go beyond local safety requirements and feature radio, cell-phone, Oxygen, First-Aid-Kit, life jackets and many other exras. But before all, they are fast and comfortable fun-boats! The Calahonda - 21ft, 140hp - is our boat for everything. It is set-up for up to 6 divers/passengers including guide for dive-trips, Dive Courses, Snorkelers, Whale-Watchers and has optional fishing gear on board. It's size allows to access any little corner of the coast including secluded beaches, mangrove rivers and small islands. The Voltareta - 25ft, 225 hp - is our flag-dive boat for up to 10 divers including 2 guides. It is built in Costa Rica for local conditions but according to international Coast Guard requirements. This boat is especially conceived for the "long-range-trip" to the Cats and Bats which we can reach in no time. More extras like a fresh water shower and easy water entry/exit make this boat to a perfect diving platform.
This is one of the most popular local dive sites, just 10 min away from shore. Maximum depth: 25m, visibility: from poor to excellent, accessibility: all levels. At this dive site you have the whole variety of the local marine life joined: from Harlekin-Shrimps and Sea-Horses over schooling Grunts, Snappers to White-Tip-Reef-Sharks, Eagle- and Sting-Rays, Moray-Eels and many other colorful reef-fish.
