Our dive base is member of "Quality Divers" - an Association of First Class Dive Operators - and we are the only one in Murter that offers a broad range of education from kids to profis on an international level. The training follows PADI guidelines in several languages: German, English, French, Croatian, Finnish, Russian and Swedish. The center has an English and German speaking management and is equipped with state-of-the-art techniques. With three dive instructors and three dive masters the guided groups are kept small - up to 6 guests per guide and 4 students per teacher. The class room is modern and has the latest multimedia and presentation equipment.

DIVE SITES:

Borovnik - Three Caves in National Park Kornati

Balun and Borovnik are connected by a beautiful wall. Next to Borovnik you find in a small bay three caves on top of each other. The entrance to the deepest one is in 38m and inside you can go up in a small diagonal chimney app.. 10m The middle cave is rather a nice overhang, the most beautiful and attractive cave is entered at 7m. Borko - Basvica

LOCATION: Pass by the island of Samograd, in the prolongation of Kurba Vela (the big prostitute) you will find a small rock hardly above the water level. SW underwater landscape offers you two gorgonia walls, the upper one is the most shallow gorgonia colony in the area. In NW you will find in 10 m parts of Borko. Follow this direction after seagrass and sand at a depth of 44 m you see the wreck of Borko.

Francesca di Rimini - Kaprije

Though still some people exist in Murter, who witnessed the shipwreck of Francesca, not too much information could be gathered up to now. According to the reports a scout plane found Francesca in front of island Kaprije, with an engine break down, fully loaded with ammunition for the troops in Africa. After the attack of fighter bombers a part of the ammunition exploded and Francesca sank. There are some other versions: According to other sources the wreck of Francesca should rest in Pula and some witnesses claim that the ship resting in front of Kaprije is not the Francesca at all. However, she is one of the most beautiful wrecks in Adria, covered with sponges and soft corals surrounded by schools of fish. Because of the depth only for experienced divers.

Babuljasi

Small and Big Babuljasi are located in the NE of Zut. In the S of V. Babuljasi a wall starts, first very shallow ( 10m-15m) falling down to 45 m. Babuljasi is famous for its Gorgonia colonies which grow opposite to other places not on the wall but mostly on the ground. If you continue the Gorgonias come up to 22 m and we have seen some bright yellow ones.

The Dome - V. Panitula, National Park Kornati

The dive site by V.Panitula has its name from the shape - a semi-circle, 50m in diameter and 50m deep. For diving in the Dome you anchor just by the entrance of the cave on the plateau. Beginners turn directly to the right and enter the cave, experienced divers explore the Gorgnian on the steep wall first, before entering the cave. The ceiling is covered with soft corals, the sensation is that the corals grow as intensive on 15m as on 40m". DISTANCE from MURTER: 16 M

Kukuljari

The Kukuljari is a group of islands located in the SW of Murter island; the dive sites are on the island closest to Murter with the light-house. The W-side is sheltered and offers a perfect anchor ground. On the NW-cape is a small cavern with colourful sponges (22m). On the E-side you will find everywhere rich marine life, walls with yellow corals and schools of fish. DISTANCE from MURTER: 4 M LEVEL: all levels

Misi

South of Zut an underwater hill comes very close to the surface (take care with your boat). In SE a small wall drops down. Swim around and you will find parts of an un- identified wreck. Though the parts itself don't look for too much rich marine live is hidden beneath the plates and bars.

Kablinac

The dive starts in the south of the small rock next to Kablinac. After some fin-strokes above seagrass you reach a sandy plateau . The wall starts next to it in approx. 20-25 m. On the way back you cross a small wall in 15-17m. DISTANCE from MURTER: 8 M LEVEL: experienced

Samograd - National Park Kornati

LOCATION: Samograd is the most southern island of the Kornati. In front of the island a wall goes from south to north. Diving down you see red Fan Corals from 22 meters onward. Pay a visit to a small plateau in 33 meters where usually lobsters dwell. On your way along the wall the red Fan Corals grow deeper and are replaced by yellow ones and after a while Sulphur Sponges appear. Ascend over the sea grass with schools of fish to the little wall beneath the water line of the island and go safely back to boat. Enjoy it, it is one of the most beautiful dive sites in the Kornati area DISTANCE from Murter: 14 M

Kamenar

Kamenar, the "Stone-Hill" is located E of the island Zut. An underwater rock comes up close to the surface. The upper plateau is structured in soft hills, an ideal anchor ground and a nice area for your safety stop. Though it is outside Kornati National Park it shows the same type of landscape.
