BIDP's speedboat Is a purpose built diving boat, with toilet & shower facilities taking divers to dive locations in a minimal amount of time. The boat is powered by two Yamaha 6 cylinder, 200hp engines and will bring you to the Nusa Islands south-east of Bali in around 45 minutes.
"Manta Point" dive site which is located south-west Nusa Penida is one of Bali's most frequently visited divesites. It's possible to encounter the mighty Manta Ray year round at this location. Dive conditions can be challenging at this place because this part of Nusa Penida is under the influence of the ocean to the south.
The bay has 2 entrances, and a big rock sits in the centre. On the outside edge of this rock the currents can be strong, tricky and challenging. Inner Crystal Bay is tame, with large coral formations a paradise for marine life.
Tulamben has become one of Bali's most famous diving area's. Tulamben Bay, like the rest of Bali, is situated in the richest marine biogeographic zone in the world. Being on the northeast coast, the bay receives plankton rich waters from the major ocean currents that move from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean.
