COURSES Considering that Scubadreamer Diving College is a PADI GOLD PALM 5 STARS INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT CENTER , our main mission is training / diving courses: supported by a qualified staff of PADI instructors the College offers a wide range of multilingual diving courses from recreational to technical ! Among this variety we offer: bubblemakers, discover scuba, discover scuba diving, scuba diver, open water diver course, advanced owd course , more than 12 specialities courses , rescue diver , divemaster, assistant instructor , instructor and Specialy instructor. (for further details on these last courses visit the GO PRO page) BOAT DIVING Full-day trips are run every day at the Scubadreamer diving college. Both certified divers and snorkelers are welcome to join us on our safe and comfortable vessels (25mt long). The boats are all supplied with sunshine areas, bathrooms and kitchen for lovely lunches! The meeting place is at the diving centre around 8.00 am. After a briefing on the day's plan and a few guidelines on how to behave onboard we will leave for the jetty on our air conditioned bus. The navigation time depends on the location we wish to reach (normally between 15min and 2hs); Upon arrival our guides will briefly prepare divers and snorkelers regarding what they are expected to see and regarding behaviour in and out from the water. Once the first activity comes to an end the boat will move to a new spot where lunch will be served . If you wish to do so you are more than welcome to take a quick nap before reaching the third site. Here again our guides will prepare you for all the different activities. With a minimum number of people interested we also offer third dives. Our estimated time of arrival at the jetty is normally around 5.00 pm. The so called local dives such as Ras Cathy, Temple , Gardens etc… offer an unforgettable show of Gorgonias , colourful corals and fancy looking small size fishes. The more distant and fashionable dives such as the four reefs in Tiran Strait and Ras Mohammed offer the opportunity to often meet mantas ,turtles, eagle rays , pelagic fishes and sharks. Of course the gorgeous soft and hard corals and the different types of marine environments make these encounters really spectacular. Our weekly plan was carefully structured in order to start off with easy dives and gradually make your way up to the more challenging ones. This system allows you to safely explore all the most beautiful dives in Sharm el Sheikh. Do not forget the most adventurous and exciting dive of the red sea : the Thistlegorm wreck! A roughly 2.5 hours boat ride will take you to the Sha'ab Ali area where the Thistlegorm was classified as one of the most beautiful wreck of the underwater world. It was sunk by a German Bombardier in October 1941 while circumnavigating Africa. Its mission was to supply the British Army in North Africa. Located between a depth of 17 and 30 mt , still in up right position, the Thistlegorm is 126 mt long and 17,5 mt wide. Inside the wreck you will be able to observe rail wagons , jeeps , trucks , motorbikes , bren carriers tanks , anti aircraft guns , weapons and military boots. We basically manage this dive once a week offering / suggesting to dive it in Nitrox SHORE DIVING Scubadreamer Diving College runs shore dives from the house reef on a daily base ! Dives are scheduled at 9.00 am and 3.00 pm but you can also choose different timing, according to your needs, especially in the morning . The meeting place is at the Diving Center : after assembling the equipment (in the area especially designed to reproduce the characteristics of a boat) and receiving the dive briefing, our pick up will transfer divers and equipment directly in to the beach. All the dives are Guide leaded from our instructors (according to the Egyptian governmental laws you are not allowed to dive without the direct supervision of a professional member of the South Sinai Association For Diving and Marine Activities). The diving spot (named TORFA EL KARUF) is the ideal place where to dive after a period of inactivity , to practice your buoyancy (the bottom is equipped with an u/w platform and a peak performance buoyancy circuit) , but also offers a nice environment for shooting photos and sometimes "special encounters". From the same spot we also organize night dives and technical dives NITROX FOR FREE Divers safety is one of our main concern at Scubadreamer Diving College : that's the reason why we strongly support the NITROX FOR FREE campaign: in any dive you are going to do with us you can easily choose, with no extra costs, to dive with air tanks or Enriched Air Nitrox 32% tanks! In order to that you need to be able to proof to be certified as Enriched Air Nitrox Diver (from any major training agency). Otherwise you can easily enroll in the Padi EANX Specialty Course with us and receive all the benefits of this campaign!
