A submersed pinnacle between labas and sepoi, it starts at 9m and slopes down to 22m. This is one of the major highlight of Tioman’s under water world. The rock formation is simply amazing because everything is covered by soft coral, hard corals and barrel sponges. Since tiger reef is not frequent dived you can find little human impact on the corals. Because of the stronger currents which you can expect here, you can encounter large schools of jacks, mackerels, yellow fin barracudas and more.
This rocky Island is partial covered by a dense tree growth. Chebeh harbors a large colony of see gulls which takes off at the first sight of our dive boat. As you descent you will be greeted by yellowtail fusiliers and Bat fishes, this steep sloping reef formation is mainly covered by fan corals (gorgonians) and other soft corals. At 21m we have a large cavern filled with glass fishes, here we can on many occasion see sleeping nurse sharks up to 2.5 m in size.
This island is our Swiss cheese, because of its abundance of caverns. Labas has two dive sites to offer, the head or tail with both being equal challenging and simply fascinating. Swimming through the labyrinth of swim throughs or glide along the dense coral garden at 18m which ever you choose both will leave a lasting memory. Labas with its overgrown rock formation makes it an easy dive and be on the hunt for the thousands of nudibranchs here!
