The Original Akumal Dive Shop is a 5 Star PADI IDC center. We were the first dive shop on Mexico's Caribbean mainland.Our Dive Shop is located right on the beach in Akumal Bay. In Mayan, Akumal means “place of the turtles”. We are famous for the green turtles who lazily feed in the Akumal Bay. We regularly view green, hawksbill, and the occasional logger head turtle on our dives.
